What does my PNR status actually show?

Your PNR status shows your booking status (Confirmed, RAC, or Waitlisted), your coach and berth/seat number once allocated, your class of travel, and whether the reservation chart has been prepared.

What does "Chart Not Prepared" mean?

It means Indian Railways hasn't finalized seat allocations yet. The first chart is typically prepared a few hours before departure, with a final chart shortly before the train leaves.
