These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of CoSeat (accessible at coseat.in), operated by CoSeat India, a sole proprietorship ("CoSeat," "we," "us"). By using CoSeat, you agree to these Terms.
CoSeat is an independent platform that helps train and flight passengers find other passengers willing to mutually swap seats. For train journeys, we verify your PNR against the live seat manifest to confirm an active booking. For flights, seat and booking details are currently self-declared by the user and are not independently verified against airline systems. CoSeat does not process payments, does not guarantee that a swap will be found or completed, and does not have authority over seating decisions, which always remain subject to the relevant TTE, cabin crew, or operator's final approval.
You agree to provide accurate information when declaring a seat or PNR, to use CoSeat only for genuine seat-swap coordination, and not to use the platform to harass, impersonate, defraud, or collect information about other passengers beyond what's needed to coordinate a swap. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who misuses the platform, submits fraudulent booking details, or violates these Terms.
CoSeat is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind regarding availability, match success, or accuracy of self-declared flight information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoSeat and its operators are not liable for any loss, missed connection, seating dispute, or damages arising from a swap arrangement, a failed match, or reliance on unverified flight details submitted by another user. CoSeat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated in partnership with Indian Railways, IRCTC, or any airline.
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of CoSeat after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Gurugram, Haryana. For questions, contact us at coseat.in@gmail.com.
